Brazil rises in the highest place of the podium in Warsaw!

It is with great pride that the Brazilian Confederation Boxing announces the national team sent to Warsaw, Poland, to compete in the XXX Feliks Stamm Tournament, back home with three medals in the luggage!

The heavyweight Juan Nogueira took the bronze, after being defeated yesterday by 12-4.

And in the finals today in Polish night, Patrick Lawrence gave a show, and secured the first Brazilian Gold in international tournaments this year. The representative of the 49 kg category showed his agility and intelligence during combat, not opportunities to defeat. The fight against Russian Vasilij Egorov ended with the score 17-15, in favor of Brazil, and Brazil rises in the highest place of the podium. Patrick, a native of Rio de Janeiro, is a clear reality in the Brazilian Olympic Boxing, and is winning is a demonstration that its full potential is yet to be achieved!

Shortly thereafter, an amazing fight raised the spectators from their seats in the prestigious Feliks Stamm Tournament: Robson Conceição faced Bunyamin Aydin, Turkey, and the two battled until the end. The Turkish left in front, fighting as required by your school boxing, however, the Brazilian showed his serenity and competence acquired through many battles international career, and turned the fight in the final round, in spectacular fashion! The fight ended 14-9 in favor of Robson and again brings the Bahia gold around the neck.

The Feliks Stamm Memorial Tournament, a tribute to the "father" of Polish boxing is one of the most traditional championships and competed in the world. Now in its 30th edition, the competition took place in Warsaw was fought by powers such as Kazakhstan, Russia, Australia, Canada, Ukraine and England, among others.
