Brazil will be present in the final five Female Continental Championship being played in Corwall, Ontario, Canada.



Yesterday three athletes secured a place in the finals.

Erica Matos won the Puerto Rican Tiffani Perez by the score 16-9 for the 51 kg category.

In 54 kg category, the athlete won the U.S. Coast Clelia Cristina Cruz by a score of 18 x 14.

Adriana Araujo won the Puerto Rican Kiria Tapia by the score 11-7.

Roseli Feitosa lost to Clarisse Shields 29-11 in the 75 kg category.



The three winning athletes join Rosilaine Silva (64 kg) and Erika Cabrera (+81 kg) in the finals of the competition.



The final that Brazil will have:

51 kg: Erica Matos x Marlen Esparza (United States)

54 kg: Clelia Costa x Yanina Benavidez (Argentina)

60 kg: Adriana Araujo x Dayana Sanchez (Argentina)

64 kg: Silva vs. Rosilaine Mikaela Mayer (USA)

+81 Kg: Erika Cabrera x Victoria Perez (USA)



The Continental Female happen until April 08 in the city of Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, and serves as preparation for the FIFA Women's World Cup to be contested in the city of Qinhungdao, China 09-20 May. The World Cup is the only chance of ranking for women's boxing targeting the London Olympics in 2012.
